Chigozie Obi

Chigozie Obi works across painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and digital illustration. Her practice explores identity, community, social issues, Igbo culture, and everyday life, particularly the experiences of Black women. Through her work, she creates space for reflection, self-acceptance, and healing. Documentation is central to her practice, rooted in her belief that life—grand or ordinary, tender or difficult—deserves to be captured, preserved, and remembered.
